MicroFinance Consulting Division: Impacto MicroFinance
As we recover from a financial debacle and we are re-learning to value access to capital and managing our wealth, financial institutions should look closely to historically underbanked communities whom although are proven to perform well in terms of repayment rates (up to 100%)and customer loyalty they have not been given an opportunity to be part of the traditional financial system. We can help financial institutions to scale down their services and create appropriate products and services for unbanked communities, specially new immigrants.
Capacity Statement:
With our experience leading the effort to launch the first Latino focused Credit Union in the State of Georgia (one of only 6 approved in the U.S. in 2008) we established a nationwide network of Credit Unions successfully serving the Hispanic and the Unbanked Markets in addition to building relationships with Credit Union Trade Associations (leagues) and Donors interested in supporting access to fairly priced financial services and education.
